HappyFit is one of Austria’s leading fitness studio chains, with more than 25 locations in Austria and Germany. Late 2014 Signal accepted the challenge to give a fresh start to its social media presence and developing social media for HappyFit’s main marketing channel.
Developing a plan
As a first step Signal set up a locations structure on Google Business and facebook, integrated unofficial pages and set up a process for editorial planning and content production involving HappyFit’s marketing department, local studio managers and the existing ad agency. However, managing a rather large facebook community is more than just posting interesting and involving content. Meanwhile social media is one of HappyFit’s main support channels and Signal provides first level support with an average response time well below an hour round the clock.
With structure and processes in place the next task was to further evolve content together with HappyFit’s marketing department. Key features of the new strategy are the integration of customers as fitness models and cooperation with the social media and fitness star David Lengauer for high quality video content. As last component Signal redesigned the website as central content hub optimized for direct call-to-action and highlighting of campaigns. Moreover, better presentation of services and locations considerably reduced basic support requests.
